Ministers of Hospitality:
These people help with the celebration of Eucharist. They warmly welcome all the people who come to worship by greeting them at the doors of the church. They hand out the weekly parish bulletins, help with the collections, the presentation of bread and wine, and the flow of traffic in and out of the church. If interested in joining, call Parish Office at (408) 264-3600.

Ministers of Music:
We have music at all our Masses. Symbols, signs and stories are intrinsic to Christian worship, and the art of the musician touches all these elements of liturgy. Each music group has its own practice time and schedule. If you are a musician or like to lead in song, please call Parish Office at (408) 264-3600.

Altar Servers:
Girls and boys, 10 years and older, help the presiding celebrant at the altar. We are all called to Ministry, so it is wonderful that young boys and girls can live and express their faith through this special ministry of service. If interested in joining, please call the Parish Office (264-3600).

Ministers of the Word or Lectors:
These Ministers process in with the Word of God after welcoming the community with the opening announcements and the call to greet one another. They are trained to proclaim the Word of God, to gather the prayers and petitions of the assembly and to make the final announcements that indicate the activities of the Church Community during the week. If interested in joining, call Parish Office at (408) 264-3600.

Ministers of the Eucharist:
Women, men, and youth of our community assist the Presider with serving the Body and Blood of Christ to those receiving Communion, and with extending a blessing to little children and to those who may not be receiving Communion. If interested in joining, call Parish Office at (408) 264-3600.

Ministers of Environment and Art in Liturgy:
Artistic parishioners help plan, create and assemble different environments and art forms such as banners, vestments, altar linens and liturgical symbols. They work closely with liturgy planners to coordinate with the theme of the different liturgical seasons. If interested in helping and joining, call Parish Office (408) 264-3600.

Ministers of Altar Care:
Each week people involved in this ministry care for the altar linens and vestments. Ministers serve on a monthly basis in teams to dust and clean the sacristies, altar, chapel and sanctuary in preparation for weekend Eucharistic celebrations. If interested in helping and joining, please call Parish Office at (408) 264-3600.

Ministers of the Sacristy:
Each week people involved in this ministry care for items needed for the celebration of Eucharist and other liturgical functions. This includes taking inventory, the setting up and maintenance of worship items. They come to the office Thursday afternoon and bring any articles needed for weekend worship from the office to the church and then return used items back to the office on Monday. If interested in helping, please call Parish Office (408) 264-3600.

Bread Ministry:
Come join us in our bread ministry that started in 1981 at Transfiguration. Bring your heart and hands to the ministry of baking altar bread for our eucharistic celebrations. Contact Parish Office at (408) 264-3600 to find out more about this ministry or if you wish to be a part of it.

Rosary Group:
This group meets on Fridays at 7:15 p.m. In honor of Mary, the Blessed Mother of Jesus Christ, we offer the rosary. This is an ongoing Parish prayer devotion, to which everyone is invited. November through Lent, in the Fireside Room. Easter to October, in the Grotto area by Mount Tabor Hall. For more information, call the Parish Office at (408) 264-3600.
