Fr.
Walter M. (Wally) McMahon
Fr.
Wally is a native San Franciscan from the city's Sunset District
where the sun rarely shined in the spring or summer. He attended
the diocesan seminaries from 1961 to 1973.
He
ministered as a deacon in St. Elizabeth Church San Francisco in
1972 prior to ordination in May 1973. In 1978, he received a D.Min
from Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley.
He
ministered as associate pastor at St. Joseph of Cupertino, and St.
Andrew, Daly City. In 1981 when San Jose became a diocese, he requested
to become part of the presbyterate, and since has had assignments
as parochial vicar at Transfiguration, San
Jose, and Holy Spirit, San Jose. In 1990 he was appointed pastor
of St. Thomas of Canterbury, San Jose. On July 1, 2002, he was appointed
fourth pastor of the Church of the Transfiguration.
Paula
Ramos 
Paula has been Director of Catechetical Ministry here at Transfiguration
since 1997. She has been an employee of the Diocese of San Jose
for 22 years, and has worked in the area of Catechetical Ministry
for 18 years. Paula really enjoys working with children and youth
of all ages, their parents and families. In addition, she looks
forward to spending time planning and organizing events/activities
with parish catechists and
volunteers. Paula is a graduate of the Dioscesan Institute for Leadership
in Ministry, a Master Catechist amdLay Ecclesial Minister in the
Diocese of San Jose.
Maureen
Godar
Maureen
has been a member
of
Transfiguration since it's founding in the 1980s. She was one of
the Pastoral Team as the Elementary (Catechetical) Coordinator.
She is a Master Catechist and Lay Ecclesial Minister in the Diocese
of San Jose and was honored in 2005 for 35 years of service. Since
2001, she has worked as the Catechumanate Coordinator. Maureen is
also the Liturgy and Wedding Coordinator.

Martin is our Maintenance Custodian. He makes sure our environment
is always welcoming!
